Red Hills, Central Kingston expelled from KSAFA U-13

Red Hills and Central Kingston football clubs have both been expelled from the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association's (KSAFA) Claro 2010-2011 Under-13 competition.
Both clubs were sanctioned, a KSAFA release said, for failing to honour their fixtures following meetings of the KSAFA competition's committee on July 19 and 26.
Red Hills were excluded from the remainder of this year's competition for failure to show for their scheduled game against Seaview Gardens Football Club on June 30, and to not field a team and attending their scheduled game against Shortwood Football Club on Sunday, July 10.
Central Kingston failed to show for their scheduled game against Cavalier Football Club on July 3. They also failed to field a team and to attend their scheduled game against Mountain View Football Club on Thursday, July 7.
Red Hills FC and Central Kingston FC were therefore penalised for not playing two fixtured games in the competition as per Article 7.5 of the KSAFA Rules & Regulations and Appendix 8. The introduction of the KSAFA's Rules and Regulations Relating to all Youth Competitions.
Losing the match
Article 7.5 states: "If a club does not report for a match, except in the case of force majeure recognised by the KSAFA competition's committee, or if it refuses to continue to play or leaves the stadium before the end of a match, the team shall be considered as having lost the match and three points will be awarded to its opponents with a score of 3-0 or more and the guilty club shall be fined $25,000."
Appendix 8 states: "Failure to participate in the two compulsory competitions, that is the Under-13 and the Under-20 and one of the optional Under-15 and Under-17, shall result in the disqualification of that club in participating in the senior KSAFA competitions for the new season immediately following."
The Red Hills FC and Central Kingston FC will not be eligible to participate in the upcoming senior competitions, that is, Jackie Bell, Syd Bartlett and Major Leagues, for the 2011-2012 season, the release said.
