Pick-9 at $6.8 million

After taking a break on Wednesday due to the midweek card facilitating only eight races, the Pick-9 returns in all its glory at Caymanas Park tomorrow with a whopping $6.8 million carryover from last Saturday.

With heavy betting anticipated, a payout in excess of $8.5 million looks a real possibility. It could even reach $9 million.

This Pick-9 has eluded punters for the past seven race meets, and chances are, if it is not caught, it could really take off, with the big spenders expected to take the plunge once it passes $10 million.

If it survives another fortnight, there's no telling how big it could grow. The Pick-9 record of $46.9 million was set on July 26, 2008, when seven punters shared the big payout, each receiving $6.7 million.
