Four-day ban for Halledeen

In-form apprentice Robert Halledeen, who recently rode a triple, starts a four-day suspension tomorrow for separate riding offences at Caymanas recently.

Helledeen, who also won aboard PRINCECHAD on Wednesday's card, picked up two racedays when he faced the stewards at Winchester Road on August 2, this for careless riding aboard MIKENIFICENT in the second race on July 23, his mount causing interference to the runner-up RED FLAG in the vicinity of the 200 metres. This suspension takes effect tomorrow.

At the same hearing, Halledeen, who rode the winning horse SUPER CENTRE in the fourth race on July 23, picked up another two racedays for causing interference to the runner-up ERGASIA rounding the 400-metre bend. This suspension commences on Saturday, August 20.

Apprentice Georgina Sergeon, who rode RED FLAG in the July 23 race, had her explanation accepted for the interference caused to DONTSAYAWORD in the vicinity of the 200-metre pole.

Meanwhile, apprentice Michael Grant, who rode ALLORA in the eighth race on Saturday, July 11, was on Tuesday suspended for two racedays for the interference caused to BULLET LINE approaching the half mile. His suspension commences on Wednesday, August 17.
