The semi-finals of the Jamaica Public Service-sponsored (JPS) Rockfort Football League will be held today at the Camperdown High football field. Burgher United FC will first face Rennock Lodge FC at 2 p.m., before Manley Meadows FC oppose Springfield at 4 p.m.

Nkrumah Bonner hits BH century
West Indies Twenty20 selectee to tour England, Nkrumah Bonner, celebrated his call-up with an unbeaten century (123) for National Housing Trust (NHT) in their win against Continental Baking Company in the Reggae Jammin Business House 50-over league at Mico College last Sunday.
Batting first in this, the final preliminary round fixture, NHT raced to 293 for seven - Bonner, batting at number four, slamming an aggressive 123 not out, former West Indies under-19 player Shacoya Thomas 35; Patrick Dixon 2-50, Junior Blackwood 2-52, Richard McIntosh 2-101. Continental Baking Company were skittled out for 29 off 22.3 overs by national player Bevon Brown, 3-9, and Frederick Hermitt, 3-16.
AT CHALMERS AVENUE: Leaders LIME beat Red Stripe by 120 runs. LIME 228 for five off 40 overs - Fitzroy Peterkin 54 not out, former national youth players Andre McCarthy and Yannick Elliott 46 each, Carlos Green 36; Richard Allen 2-16, Glenford Christie 2-45. Red Stripe 108 for seven off their 40 overs - former national player Wayne Cuff 59, Junior Ricketts 20; Ryan Francis 4-18, Green 2-19.
AT MONA: NWC defeated Jamalco by three wickets. Jamalco 139 for nine off 31.5 overs - Errol Thomas Jr 43, Winston 'Sala' Osbourne 28; Duran Whyte 4-30, Garwain Johnson 2-25. NWC 214 for seven off 30,2 overs - David Morgan 45, Domain Wilson 37; Thomas 2-26, Derrick Spence 2-26.
AT SPRING VILLAGE: The match between defending champions Jamaica Broilers and JUTC was curtailed by rain. Both teams have been awarded a point, while Digicel defeated Sagicor at Kensington Park.
Only one match is scheduled for tomorrow, this being the Business House Cricket Board's 35-over semi-final between Jamalco and NWC at Jamalco, starting at 10 a.m. The winner will meet Digicel in the final at a date and venue to be announced.

Business House football finals today
The KSAFA/Western Sports Business House divisional football finals are scheduled to be played today at the Constant Spring playing field, with defending champions Petrojam up against NWC in the Division I final at 4 p.m., and NHT vs Jamaica Customs in the Division II final at 2 p.m.
Petrojam advanced to the final following a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Wisynco at Mona on August 22, thanks to goals from Ricardo Munroe, Tyrone Davis and Aphas Bernard. On the same afternoon, NWC clipped former champions Carib Cement 1-0 at Red Stripe Oval, courtesy of a fifth-minute goal from Nigel Reid.
Meanwhile, The Gleaner won the Scotiabank-sponsored Business House KO final on Thursday at Mona Bowl, beating Scotiabank 5-3 on penalty kicks after both ended 0-0 in regulation and extra time.

Clarendon Senior/Junior Netball finals tomorrow
The respective finals of the Juici Patties Clarendon Netball Association's Senior and Junior Open leagues will be on tomorrow at the Mineral Heights Sports Centre.
The Junior finals will start at 3 p.m. and features, for the first time, Mandeville-based Ricam Strikers against the unbeaten Clarendon team, Hayes All Stars.
The senior finals which follow will feature another duel between fierce rivals Jamalco and Windalco.
In last weekend's Junior semi-finals, Hayes stopped the possibility and perhaps embarrassment of an all-Manchester final, by defeating Manchester High 35-20. The next Mandeville-based team, Ricam Strikers, outlasted local team Sewell Lane 35-30. The Junior final winners will be upgraded to the Senior League next season.
Both Jamalco and Windalco confirmed their places in the finals with confident high-scoring victories last weekend. Jamalco hammered schoolgirl champions Denbigh 43-20 while Windalco ended the run of Turbo United 58-41.

Devils Angels vs St Croix in pool
The visiting women's pool team from St Croix will take on the Devil's Angels' ladies team from Hot Shots tomorrow at LIME Sports Club, Chalmers Avenue, starting at 4 p.m.
The Devil's Angels team will come from Ruth Salmon (captain), Jamaica Billiards Association president Nicky Lawrence, Francine Cardoza, Chyann Nichol and Grace Chingsang Letts.

Settlement are Porus U-15 champs
Settlement got their first-ever hold on the Western Union-sponsored Porus Academy Under-15 title following a 1-0 win over defending champions Tuff Gong last Sunday.
The all-important goal was scored by Shakur Baker, his seemingly tame long-range grounder falling from the grips of the distraught Tuff Gong goalkeeper. Settlement's win was sweet revenge for their loss to the same team last year, when they went down 4-3 on penalties.
Much was expected of Settlement this time around after they ran out impressive 4-1 winners in the semi-finals over this year's surprise team, John Boscoe Boys. Tuff Gong had struggled in their semi-finals to turn back the challenge of Harmons 2-1.
The tournament is in its 16th year and has been sponsored by Western Union for the last 11 years. Sponsorship had increased from $700,000 last year to just over a $1 million this year.

New Testament Cobbla Church League
New champions will be crowned in the New Testament Church of God Cobbla Church Football League following the second and final set of quarter-final matches played last week at the Cobbla Youth Camp grounds.
In the biggest shock of the competition in recent years, form counted for nothing as defending champions George North were soundly beaten 2-0 by a rejuvenated Church United team.
In the afternoon's other quarter-final, Roose Madrid got the better of Napoli 4-3 on penalties, after the two battled to a 1-1 draw after regulation and extra time.
Tomorrow's semi-final pairing pits Church vs Roose Madrid in the 4 p.m. feature while Gully Strikaz meet Christiana Strikers in the curtain-raiser at 2 p.m.

Jamalco Football League
Four teams have secured quarter-final slots in the Jamalco Football League. They are defending champions New Bowens, zone mates Napoli, and the Zone Two pair of Mandela and last year's beaten finalists Top Hill.
Zone Three is far from decided, with four teams in with a chance of securing the two automatic spots. Port lead that race with seven points, closely followed by the duo of Juventus and Bottom Halse Hall on six, and Top Halse Hall with four points. The zone positioning puts greater interest in the outcome of today's clash between Juventus and Top Halse Hall at Wembley field.
Another two places will go to teams across the three zones who have been adjudged the best third-place finishers, hence lots of interest in the remaining round of preliminary games. In tomorrow's double-header at Wembley, Mineral Heights will seek to take advantage of South Manchester's poor form all season, while the clash between Napoli (9 pts) and New Bowens (11 pts) will decide who finish as the top qualifiers from Zone One.
Last week, Napoli rebounded from their 1-0 loss to New Bowens to thrash Mocho 4-0. The highlight of the match was the double strike from Rohan Smith, which took his personal tally to five, and top of the goalscoring chart.

All games begin at 11 a.m. In games last week, Garveymeade (12 points) defeated fifth-place Cumberland (five points), whereas Waterford (nine points) went down to their first loss of the season as former champs, Passagefort United (nine points), defeated them 250-235; Ken's Wildflower (nine points) whipped Rising Sun 250-206; Westchester Nuckuz won their first match as they knocked off Portsmouth United 250-230.

Rodwood cop U-17 title
Rodwood United claimed their second hold on the Under-17 title, after they outclassed first-time finalist Bridgeport 5-0 in the Pines Imaging Centre-sponsored Portmore football league at the Ferdie Neita Park last Saturday. In a one-sided affair, Rodwood got their goals through Shane Watson, who scored a brace, while goalie Steven Bowes scored from the penalty spot. Dwayne Henry and Chevaughn Walcott also netted for the Waterford-based club.
Floyd Coke, head coach of Rodwood, expected a more competitive game. "Being a final, I expected Bridgeport to make a match of it, but after we scored our second goal, it seemed as if they gave up and we took full control of the match and won easily." At the end of the match, Welsford Sinclair, managing director of Pines Imaging Centre, handed over the championship trophy.

Harmons face off with Little America
Little America are in for some heat as they face off against form team Harmons United in the opening game of a triple-header in the Waterford community football league at the Waterford field tomorrow. Match time is 12:30 p.m.
Harmons United have copped two wins in as many matches and are level in Group C on six points with Cascade.
In the second match at the venue, at 2:30 p.m. Duncan's take on Park Heights, while in the last match of the day, Boston-based Parkway United (six points) take on Group A leaders and defending champions Oneinity (seven points) at 4:30 p.m. Meanwhile, two games are on this afternoon at the same venue. They are Wigton versus Afghanistan at 2 p.m., and Hamdem verses Souvenir Strikers at 4 p.m.
