TUESDAY TALK
1. Local sport fans are being warned of an impending showdown between two egotists involved in the country's sports administration. It's the classic example of the impossibility of two bulls ruling in the same pen. And the gods seem to be on the side of one, handing him a scandal with which to prove his point.

2. Not many people were impressed with the executive who went public with details about her love child. This is happening many years after the fact and some have called it an act of indiscretion to be expressing details at this time.

3. Customers need to be aware that some of the country's well-established shops are cheating their customers with impunity. This was played out recently at the uptown branch of a very popular store when a customer discovered that she was overcharged $1,000 for an item, perhaps due to mislabelling - what was distressing was the attitude of the staff who seemed to think nothing was really wrong with making such a mistake. No one seemed anxious to amend the egregious error.

4. The lecturer is said to be on the prowl for a new love interest while his wife settles down to develop her career. Late nights and early mornings are just what the doctor has apparently ordered. More anon.
