Florida-based reggae singer Kehv is working on new songs he hopes will give him a foothold in the Jamaican market.

One of the producers he is collaborating with is Tony Kelly, a major force in the dancehall during the 1990s. Kelly was the man behind hits like Sean Paul's Like Glue and Everyone Falls In Love by Tanto Metro and Devonte.

"I am in the studio now working on new music for my next project of which a single should be released later on this year," said Kehv. "This CD will lean more to the sensual, romantic side of the human experience."

Last year, the singer released his debut album, Simply Kehv and did several shows throughout south Florida and Europe to promote it. The music video for Conscious Farmer, the set's lead song, will be released in Jamaica soon.

Born Everton Smith in Browns Town, St Ann, Kehv immigrated to Miami at age 10. He started out as a solo act with the song Half-Way There, before joining vocal group LED with whom he did two albums.
