Feedback from a couple of our online readers to Yohan Blake's apology for his anthem antics at the World Championships:

In a country where our elected leaders defend the rights of criminals, and where leaders make deals that are bad for Jamaica, tell me, how can we hold these young men to a higher standard?

The real dissing of our flag, country and people is the association of our political parties with gangs. To all those who have been quick to be critical, monkey know who to frighten.

It pains me when I see our flag being treated like a dish rag or, like I saw recently, Mr Bolt handling it like it was a handkerchief. As a diplomat, he should have been briefed on that simple protocol.

It is our responsibility as a nation to bring awareness to their unacceptable conduct.
