Online feedback

Online readers react to yesterday's story, 'Probe Dudus here', as called for by Peter Bunting, national security spokesman for the People's National Party (PNP).

Worn-out issue

This, by now, is a worn-out issue. Jamaica needs to concentrate on

what's outside there that will be affecting us. This crop of politicians should be sent to primary school to do civics and world studies. We should demand that they clean their party of dead wood and old men with tired brains who are trying at this stage to invoke 1950s politics.

PNP sideshow

The PNP has nothing else to tell us, and that's the reason for the sideshow re Dudus. Notice the many contradictory pronouncements. I thought they had evidence, but obviously not since they are relying on hearsay evidence from the USA. If the PNP had hard evidence, they would be belting it out all over the world - plus the media would be publishing it too.

John Blake

Prezi no saint

John Blake, are you saying that Dudus is guiltless? One thing that cannot be said of Prezi is that he is a saint.

Get ready, Peter

Let's hope when a change of government comes around, Mr Bunting will not forget these calls, because even if Mr Coke gets 10 years, for the JLP to be still in power would mean three terms. This is hardly likely, so Peter, please get ready.

Protection for criminal organisation

The fact is, the Government protected a criminal organisation over the welfare of the Jamaicans. What you call the Dudus factor should be the main focus of the PNP in the next election, and I am sure more will come from the plea deal by Coke.

Strong evidence

This is the problem we have in Jamaica: we are always looking back in the past to excuse ourselves from what must be done now. The fact that Mr Coke pleaded guilty is strong enough evidence that this matter should be investigated and be determined in our courts.
