Saint models off for Fashion Week series

The bi-annual international fashion runway season started yesterday at the Lincoln Centre in New York City, USA, and the Saint Models are ready to repeat last season's success. Leading the charge for Saint is Sam Taylor, coming off her hot European editorial and runway push. "Sam's Louis Vuitton appearance in Paris has resulted in a remarkable push for her career, and it's timely, heading into the Fashion Week season," Saint CEO Deiwght Peters noted.

Saint's New York trio will be completed by Sosheba Griffiths and Orneila Edwards.

Fashion indicator Muse reports that the options are piling up for the Jamaican girls. Clients have also expressed an appreciation for their sense of style. As the countdown to the shows fast approaches, each girl is recording upwards of 30 show options.

Peters said that the girls have already confirmed an average of three shows each. "I am happy that the girls will be walking on some of the best shows," he said.

On February 17, the Fashion Week series rolls into London, England. There, the Saint team of Sam and Sosheba will be joined by Raschelle Osbourne and Trisssan Holder. Interestingly, both Sam and Sosheba are holding options for Italy's fashion bible, I-Donna. Osbourne just returned to London from Amsterdam and Paris where she had major assignments, including time at venerable fashion house Lanvin with Saint mate Sam.

Heating things up

As the fashion circuit heats up, the Saint crew then jets into Milan, Italy, home to global power brands such as Prada, Jil Sander and Versace. While Elite Milan will field Saint's Raschelle Osbourne to the best clients, powerhouse Why Not's Milan roster now includes Sosheba Griffiths and Sam Taylor for the Autumn/Winter 2011 Collections in Milan Fashion Week.

Missing from the runways this season will be perennial favourites Shena Moulton and Ashane Rose, who have commitments back home. Ironically, both girls are featured on the London Fashion Week website's home page, promoting the upcoming autumn/winter show season in that fashion city.

When the Fashion Week train rolls into its final destination - Paris, France - the Saint party will be Sam, Raschelle, Trissan and a brand new face making her international debut, Shaneke Guyher.
