As the much-anticipated Arthur's Day draws closer, noted Trinidadian band KES is now preparing to display its competence on the stage for the regional telecast of Arthur's Day concert on September 22 at the National Indoor Sports Centre.

KES has risen phenomenally since its formation in 2005, and is expected to deliver a memorable performance alongside I-Octane and Assassin.

KES was formed by Kees Dieffenthaller, Hans Dieffenthaller, Riad Boochoon and Jon Dieffenthaller after Kees exited a cover band specialising in doing cover Billboard toppers, plus popular soca and reggae tracks.

The band has steadily risen to achieve tremendous feats within the region, and has become a household name in North American cities such as Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. It has garnered an envious reputation for its electric performances. KES has also released several albums, and has made more than a dozen tracks which have made it into the top 10 of major Caribbean charts. Additionally, the band has won numerous awards for songwriting, toured globally, and performed at major festivals and events in the United States, Canada and Germany.

KES has also opened for acts such as Sean Paul, Musiq Soul Child, Usher, John Legend, and Rihanna. The band has had its music featured on television shows as well as licensed tracks to popular games on major video-game platforms.

With this lengthy list of achievements, KES is expected to deliver an energetic performance, to live up to the high expectations of the greatness associated with Arthur's Day, which will be celebrated simultaneously across the region.

The concert will reach thousands of Guinness fans through a regional television simulcast and an online stream live on the official Guinness Caribbean Facebook page at www.facebook.com/GuinnessCaribbean.
