WITH THE Pick-9 having been cornered by two punters at Caymanas Park on Monday (Heroes Day), it starts anew tomorrow with the guaranteed minimum of $1 million.

The Pick-9 will embrace races three to 11, the first Super-6 from race two to seven, the overlapping Super-6 from six to 11.

We look at the first Super-6 for a change, beginning with a three-y-o and up claiming race ($350,000-$300,000) over 1400 metres to be contested by 10 starters, including top contenders THE RUNNING MAN, who opened his account over the distance in a three-y-o maiden race on October 1; another recent winner in RUN CHARM RUN, as well as SEEK GOLD and MOJITA JAM, who was second to DIVINITY over a mile recently.

Others such as SHEISMYHEART (regaining form) and RUSSIAN COMMANDER will have their supporters, but RUN CHARM RUN, by virtue of her 41/4 lengths over CAJUN FIDDLER over 1500 metres on October 1, looks the one to beat with champion jockey Omar Walker sticking with the ride.

LA VIDA LOCA, who has been knocking at the door, gets the nod over SWIFT GLORY (Lasix on) and the front-running KACEY POPS KID in the third race over 1700 metres, confined to non-winners of two.

Native and imported maiden two-year-olds take the stage for the fourth race over the round-five course, and it should come down to a three-cornered tussle among the well-forward debutantes HUPOMONE, MOON IT IS and ARGUMENT DONE, who was narrowly beaten by the front-running ITALIANO on his recent debut over 1200 metres recently.

Significantly, all three will be ridden by champion jockey contenders Dick Cardenas (ARGUMENT DONE), Omar Walker (MOON IT IS) and HUPOMONE by Shane Ellis.

HUPOMONE, an American-bred filly from the stables of champion trainer Wayne DaCosta, has been working brilliantly at exercise. galloping 51/2 furlongs in an eye-popping 1:06.0 by 1:00.2 last Saturday morning. With this kind of preparation, she will not be easily denied.

The recent course winner NYABINGHI and othe runner-up COLD GROUND should fight out the finish of the fifth race over 1820 metres for the Royal Dad Trophy.

BAYS REPORT (Walker up) is tipped to make all ahead of REGION DE NASKRA in the sixth race over 1100 metres for maiden three-year-olds, while close those Pick-6s with Walker's mount PRINCE TAFHARI, who has only JELANI to beat in Division II of the three-year-old maiden special over 1100 metres.
