Lucozade beefs up HVFC sponsorship
Football Club.
The 10 per cent increase in sponsorship, which takes the Lucozade contribution up to $660,000, was presented at half-time by Kenneth Dodd, country manager at GlaxoSmithKline and Flavia Case, its marketing executive. Additionally, there was continued commitment of 100 cases of Lucozade to the club, along with Ribena for its First Kick junior programme on Saturdays.
The sponsorship presentation represents Lucozade's fifth consecutive year of sponsorship.
At the sponsorship presentation, Dodd reiterated his company's commitment for the long haul to the club, saying that it presented the perfect opportunity for GlaxoSmithKline to achieve its objective of serving its target markets through sports.
He also said that the brand is here to stay because there is a real need for it in all sports, and hence Lucozade will be around and at Harbour View for a long time.
