In keeping with their brand image of being full of fun, flavour and excitement, Reggae Jammin recently launched an innovative, new advertising campaign that aims to promote valuable moral lessons for children as the company debuted its newest frankfurters that have been added to their popular chicken frankfurters line of products.

The jerk and jumbo versions, along with the company's new superhero characters that will represent the brand, were unveiled recently at the official launch for the products.

At the event, the first in the series of radio and television commercials was also revealed. The ad campaign, which will unfold over the coming months, will feature the three characters - Jumbo Jack, Jerri Jerk and Jammi - embarking on a number of adventures that will ultimately deliver positive messages.

Reggae Jammin's brand manager, Racquel Rowe, said that in addition to their responsibility to provide high-quality products, the company also has an obligation to promote good values, especially since their products are geared towards children.

Promoting good values

She explained: "The new Reggae Jammin Chicken Frankfurter characters Jumbo Jack, Jerri Jerk and Jammi will be used to do just that - promote good values in a fun way. Each adventure will be centred on doing a good deed, creating not only a friend in each character, but also a role model."

She continued: "Individuals are faced with numerous scenarios on a day-to-day basis where they are forced to make decisions that can ultimately change their lives. These scenarios will be portrayed in exciting and relatable adventures to show our kids how to make the morally right choices."

Rowe noted that, above all, the brand encourages the importance of education as the origin of each Reggae Jammin Chicken Frankfurter character is centred on meeting while attending school.

The launch was held at the Palace Cineplex, Sovereign Centre, where guests were also treated to a private screening of Puss in Boots.

The event saw the company delighting their Facebook fans, customers, and children as the easy-to-prepare sausages were served in various tasty and interesting ways by chef de cuisine Brian Lumley. His culinary team served a jerk chicken sausage penne pasta, a jumbo sausage wrapped with bacon and cheese served with pineapple chutney, and sausage tempura with spicy mayo, tangy ketchup, aioli sauces.

Karis-Ann Rhoden, business development manager at Best Dressed Foods, added, "The taste preferences of our consumers are constantly evolving, and at Jamaica Broilers and Best Dressed Chicken we are committed to staying in step with and, in fact, pre-empting those changing needs, thereby continually delighting our consumers."
