The social scene is packed, packed, packed and we're keeping tabs on all the happenings!

J'can art in Europe

1. There is much talk about the art of stealing art. Word is that many well-decorated homes in Europe are now adorned with Jamaican art (something from the Islands) which were acquired at prices way below market value. No questions were asked last week when a suitcase of nicely packaged pieces were put on the conveyor belt at Sangster ... . Mr Commissioner, there is much work to be done!

What's up with UDC probe?

2. So, what's the status of the UDC investigation? It can't be fair to have people's reputation remain in tatters for so long with seemingly no urgency to resolve the issues. And what about a forum for defence? Where, oh where, is the justice?

Why can't they be trapped?

3. The hard-luck stories about persons seeking monetary assistance from friends and relatives after being robbed overseas continue by simply inserting new names and new locations. A well-known media personality is now allegedly seeking help after being trapped in Edinburgh, Scotland on the same night she was attending the PAJ awards dinner in Kingston. Why can't the police trap these people?

Ponzi saga

4. Some people are not satisfied with the explanation of the exalted one in relation to the ponzi scheme investments. But wait - another ponzi saga is about to unfold, and this time the players are considered to be well-heeled business people who have never been afraid to take a risk.
