It was no secret that I-Octane had something special in store for the staff at Secrets Resort and Spa as they celebrated their Christmas party in Montego Bay, and the entertainer delivered his promise.

The Lose A Friend singer, who is anticipating the launch of his debut album, dubbed Cry To the Nation, in January, gave the hospitality employees a superb performance that rivalled that of a major stage show.

The management of Secrets Resort and Spa treated its staff to an all-inclusive, all-white affair against the background of the Caribbean Sea at the Montego Bay Terminal last weekend.

From My Life to Mine Who Yu A Diss, the entertainer gave the capacity-filled venue a well-deserved performance as he celebrated their contribution to the success of the resort.

The comedic duo, Ity and Fancy Cat, provided an appetising entertainment treat as they set the stage for the I-Octane performance.

Engaging the crowd with their usual comedic utterances, the two had the crowd constantly laughing.

Secrets employees were in on the entertainment as some members participated through singing and dancing that helped to keep the night interesting.

Excellent food, entertainment

According to Tamara Tomas, public relations coordinator at Secrets, the management wanted to ensure that the team members were treated to an evening of culinary splendour and excellent entertainment.

"Our staff has worked all year on making the hotel a success and we wanted to do a lovely event where they are treated to great food, entertainment and a great atmosphere to lyme with their colleagues," she explained.

The Christmas party, she further noted, "was a success and the fact that they enjoyed the event held in their honour was great. We want our employees to know that hard work does have its rewards, and hosting such an event is a testament to our commitment to ensuring our staff's personal development".
