Corporate executive chef of Couples Resorts, Stefan Spath, with San Souci's acting executive chef, Valentine McKenzie, and his team, pulled out all the stops for the sixth anniversary of the St Ann-based resort.

Last Friday, the elegant Palazzina restaurant was stripped of its tables and chairs and in their stead, food stations of every description were placed both inside and out. Guests were then able to enjoy the countless selections with the lapping waves of the Caribbean Sea in the background.

It was a very elegant affair with a well-balanced menu of classic dishes and comfort foods. From the barbecue to the Asian station, everything was designed to leave a lasting impression on the palate.

Here are the highlights.
