Yes. Weed alone is enough, but cocaine and other drugs are too much. Plus it's not a good influence.

Drug use is the same everywhere, not just Jamaica. When life is hard, some people try to escape reality by using all means possible. Fix poverty, and drug use will go back down.

Yes, I think that most young people in society today are trying to find some sense of belonging, and they are pressured by their peers. Drug usage is common when they are pressured into doing illegal activities or granting sexual favours.

Most of it is as result of the parents, who think parenting stops when a child becomes of age and goes out on their own, but one has to guide and support their children.

Counselling is very important, and young people need to know that there are other options and means of having a good life.

I think it's because there is hardly anyone to say no to drug users. Police would go into the communities asking for herb or weed, not to turn it in but to hold a vibe. Some young people are out for the gangster lifestyle and guns.

The frequency of drugs has increased, and hard drugs are now more easily accessible than before.
