Sweet Belle Confections - attractive and Delicious

Not just for your sweet tooth, Sweet Belle Confections is quaint when it comes to space but big on taste.
The eatery which opened last December, prides itself on delectable-but-fun desserts as well as fresh and simple foods.
"We offer a lot of unique things, good-quality food and a friendly environment," notes Richard Chin, chef at the eatery.
Located in the new Barbican Business Centre in the middle of Barbican square, Sweet Belle is one of the establishments which seems to be heralding a new age for the square, which is on the cusp of making a comeback with other unique eateries such as Mantra and Isiaa's operating just a stone's throw away.
Clean décor
But Sweet Belle has a sweetness of its own with straightforward, clean décor. Most of its furnishings and walls are white, except one, which is painted bright pink with oversize white dots. The boldly painted wall is an accent that's the backdrop for the service area.
Their sweet treats include seven varieties of cupcakes which include some distinct flavours such as mojito - with mint and a hint of rum; macchiato - which has coffee and caramel with whipped cream on top. There are also the lemon drop and nutella cupcakes.
"The nutella is a mixture of chocolate and hazelnut, which I don't think they have anywhere else" head pastry chef Ann-Marie Greenwood told Food. "Our sticky bun is also one in a million," she
