Two homes, two countries

1. When they took off nearly 10 years ago, the wife told friends she would never return to the Rock. Unfortunately for her, her darling husband was reading from a different script. He could not so easily part company with the land he loved, so he decided he would commute between home No. 1 and home No. 2. As the husband's stay between visits to Jamaica grew longer and longer, the wife became extremely uncomfortable. So now she is planning to commute! Are these small steps forecasting a permanent return?

Church and diplomacy

2. Well, there are the ABC countries and then there are the rest. That's A as in America, B as in Britain and C as in Canada. How in the name of diplomacy did one church member decide that the seat of prominence should be reserved for a particular diplomat and that the person placed in the seat should find a seat elsewhere? Seems the church also needs a lesson in diplomacy.

Smarting ... royal ride

3. Now where do the wise go for their choice wheels? It is now official that the most princely of them all is ... word is that some persons are smarting after being overlooked for the royal ride.

No new leaf

4. Some thought that with her elevation the lady would turn over a new leaf and start to pay her bills. Sadly, nothing has changed. She is still 'trashed' in the latest designer threads and accessories, but the supplier has not been paid.
