Wild Sides on show in Negril

Despite keeping a watch on the Olympics in London and Tropical Storm Ernesto, party-goers at Appleton Temptation Isle's (ATI) Wild Sides showed the true meaning of the theme of the event last Saturday.

Even the most conservative of the revelling pack could not ignore the sound of calypso music blasting through the afternoon skies at Cosmos Beach, Negril.

DJ Sani did a marathon set, dishing out techno, calypso, dancehall and lovers' rock, and had the crowd screaming for more. Many frolicked away with strangers in the foam pit, attempting to take on the most daring of challenges from the diminutive DJ.

It's not too often the Renaissance crew makes a wrong step, and this was not going to be one of those days. Maintaining the vibe left by DJ Sani, they had the patrons begging for more, but it got even crazier with the entry of Crazy Chris. By then, the party animals were willing to move to any sound coming from the speakers.

Colour Colour, the third event in ATI party series, had the same energy level as Wild Side, with Super Sound and DJ Bambino maintaining their very high standard with solid performances.
