It was collaborative effort between the management of the Dragon Court Restaurant and the head chef to decide on the scintillating Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week menu.

And manager Anthony Choi thinks they have come up with a winning selection.

Recognising what are some of the restaurant's best-sellers and what Jamaicans typically crave, Choi said these factors were taken into consideration when deciding on the menu.

Viewing the restaurant's participation in Restaurant Week as a form of customer appreciation for his loyal and new customers, Choi said that diners will get more than the value of their meal.

And this, he said, has always been the addictive factor that creates repeat customers.

In highlighting his star dish, Choi is confident that this will score big with diners. The seafood chow mein, he believes, will be a hit as it incorporates favourites for many.

"It has lobster, shrimp and fish. And Jamaicans love their vegetables and noodles, and these make up the dish."

Boasting of the quality of items used to make the dish, Choi said providing fresh food is paramount at the restaurant.

"Everything is made fresh. The noodle is of good quality and very nice. Jamaica has good seafood and Jamaicans really love their seafood."
