Simply Red … simply amazing!
Recently, the lawns of Jamaica House were transformed into a delectable sea of white-tipped tents, all filled with delectable offerings from some of Jamaica's premier foodie specialists. In its 23rd staging, the Simply Red Wine and Food Festival, hosted by the Heart Foundation of Jamaica, is one of the main fund-raising events for the 41-year-old organisation, which was held to honour Jamaica's 50 years of Independence, under the theme 'Out of Many … one Heart'.
The festival featured two celebrity international chefs, Ed Doyle and KC O'Hara.
Sixty display booths with foods and wines encompassed an evening of fine culinary offerings where guests were able to indulge in a wide array of ethnic menu offerings from South African, European, Indian, Chinese and Jamaican traditional dishes.
The event boasted big culinary brands such as Lorraine Fung, Jacqui Tyson, Brian Lumley, Copperwood Pork, Lascelles Wines and Spirits, among others. Here's to food!
