The inaugural Spanish Town Jerk Festival was a pleasant experience for those who turned out on Sunday, December 16.
Although there was not an overwhelming number of jerked products, it was still a meaningful event.
Dishes on the day were jerked pork, fish, and chicken - all served with roasted breadfruit, hard dough bread, yam, and rice and peas.
Most of the vendors who turned out were from the Spanish Town community.
Apart from the jerked goodies, music and libations kept the patrons happy.
The children seem to have the most fun enjoying bounce-a-bout and merry-go-round, while a clown kept them happy.
