It was, without a doubt, one of the season's most anticipated nuptials and definitely one of the most fashionable!  And little wonder, as the groom, Bruce Hutson, is the son of the late social grandee, Dorit Hutson. The bride, the stunning Susie Bovell, daughter of legal luminary Christopher Bovell, and his wife, social grand dame and style maven Michelle Bovell.

So dears, y'all know we are talking impeccable style pedigree here and nothing but!

Now, with both bride and groom residing in Florida, but with friends and family here in Jamaica, the couple decided to exchange their vows here to facilitate family and friends.

Naturally, my dears, with haute style and comfort being of paramount import, not only to the bride and groom, but all their guests, the venue was equally as important to secure that feeling of familial intimacy to ensure maximum comfort and nothing but!

Well, my dears, y'all know by now that destination Jamaica is a treasure trove of idyllic, beautiful locations, whose magical atmosphere adds that sense of elan to a wedding.

The dream of most brides is to have that fairy tale wedding, and that is what the fabulous Susie Bovell achieved. Deciding on a beach wedding, with an all-white dress code, and hosted at the private beachfront residence of a family friend, on the famed Millionaire's Row in St Ann.

On June 8, the social epicentre of the fab society was Millionaire's Row, where the world and his wife were out, dressed in summery whites to complement the bride and groom. Flawlessly styled, they led the way in what proved an eloquently fabulous assemblage of some of this here island's leading personalities.

Dears, the Row never looked better, as guests drawn from a critically hand-picked shortlist of family and friends, were out in their finery, adding to the beauty and charm of the occasion, accented by the pearly whites of the beach, and the lazy Caribbean sea, gently lapping the shores as if in sedated applause to the wedding unfolding on its shores!

Dears, no drama here. Just fabulousness and the serenity of the fabulocracy out in joyous celebration of love, family and the institution of marriage, and it all made for a dream wedding of the most elegant order!

My daahlings, some say it was Tahitian in flavour; others say there was a hint of Balian magic. But all agreed it was simply magical and nothing but.

Among those out sharing in the magic of the moment and occasion were parents of the bride, Christopher and Michelle Bovell; her siblings Terry Shoucair and her daughters Tara and Rachael; Peter Bovell and wife Donnia and their daughters, in from Trinidad; Paula Kerr-Jarrett and husband Mark; Ambassador Arthur and Eleanor Thompson; Mike Hutson and his wife Ashley in from Miami. Also out was the Graubard clan - Christian, VIvian, Adolfo, Katia and Hans. Paulette and Ruben Marinbach; social grandee Lorna Myers and Gerry Neissen; the charmingly fab Janet Stewart; the elegant Diana Stewart; the charming Rosie McIver; Sylvia Collister; Percy and Eleanor Hussey; Gregory Mayne; Nicky-Ann Henlon-McCrea, deputy general manager, Club MoBay; Staciann Smith of Jewel Essence; siblings Alliana, Michelle, and Danielle Bovell; their cousin Sarah Phillipps, in from the UK; with loads of merriment, including feasting, toasting, and partying!
