Tucked away at the Mayfair Hotel at 4 West Kings House Close, you will find Japanese Restaurant Cocoro. Specialising in authentic Japanese food, the restaurant is owned and operated by Tomohisa Natsume, who also serves as the head chef.

With a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, guests will be privy to some enticing Japanese cuisine, which can be had at their desired spot - requests can be made by diners to dine indoors or outdoors, which also includes the poolside.

With a capacity to hold 80 persons, Natsume is set to go for this year's Restaurant Week (RW).

According to him, persons will not experience long waiting periods, as preparations are made based on reservations made. However, if there are persons who show up without one, provisions will be made to accommodate them if time and space permits.

With Restaurant Week designated by many as the time to try new and tasty dishes, Restaurant Cocoro is said to be one of the places for sushi lovers and sushi first-timers. In an attempt to especially appease the taste buds of the first-timers, this year, Natsume will introduce a new dish just in time for RW.

"Persons normally ask for combination rolls and this dish features two types. There is the battera, which is mackerel pressed on rice and the orchis, which is cooked salmon and cream inside wrapped with seaweed".

He noted that, based on research, there is no other restaurant with this menu offering, which makes it a unique menu item. So send your taste buds on a trip to the Orient for this year's Restaurant Week!
