By popular request from many of its patrons, Ocean's 11, located on the Ocho Rios waterfront, is participating in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week for the fist time, and expectations are high.

Chef Earle Edwards is anxious to serve his special - shrimp kebab - among the other excellent items on the Restaurant Week menu.

Restaurant manager Averil Gaynor is confident that the week will go well for Ocean's 11.

"The ambience is good; the service is professional. There's no long waiting. and, of course, the food is excellent!" remarked Gaynor.

The shrimp kebab has been a favourite of patrons at the restaurant, hence its inclusion on the Restaurant Week menu, Gaynor notes.

Another item on the menu, roasted chicklet, was recently introduced to the restaurant's menu and was so popular that it has also made its way on the Restaurant Week menu.

"Over the years, our patrons have asked us why we're not part of Restaurant Week, and now that we are, we are expecting a lot of customers and wide exposure," Gaynor adds.

"A lot of people from Ocho Rios know of us but not many from outside Ocho Rios do, so we're hoping Restaurant Week will change that," she adds.
