For Restaurant Week, a panko crusted savoury lobster cake, accompanied by their signature remoulade sauce and roasted red pepper purée, will be the main speciality featured on the menu.
Internationally trained head chef at the HouseBoat Grill, Richard Nurse, explains to Food why this dish is one of the restaurant's all-time best sellers.
"The lobster cake appetiser is packed with flavour ... it's a take on the traditional crab cake served with traditional remoulade sauce. However, this dish is not commonly prepared using lobster meat instead of crab. The slightly smokey bold flavour of the roasted red pepper purée adds another dimension to the dish," Nurse explains.
This dish which is cooked with fresh herbs, vegetables and sauces, is even more delicious with a glass of chilled, clean, crisp Pinot Grigio.
Nurse also highlights the spicy peel-and-eat pepper shrimp as also among his specialities for Restaurant Week.
