Jamaica’s national football squad, minus captain Ricardo Gardner and defensive stalwart Ian Goodison, is now in the Cayman Islands for a one-week pre-Gold Cup Camp.

Gardner, who suffered an injury towards the end of his season in England, remains in the island for treatment. He will join the team prior to its departure for the Gold Cup.

Goodison is unable to travel. His passport is with the United Kingdom Border Agency in relation to his work permit application following the renewal of his contract with Transmere Rovers.

The 19-member squad in the Cayman Islands includes overseas-based players Ricardo Fuller, Luton Shelton, Jermaine Johnson, Damion Stewart, Rafe Wolfe, Claude Davis and Jason Morrison.
