West Indies cricketers will stage their first training session this afternoon in preparation for the first of four One-Day Internationals against India, starting at Sabina Park on Friday.

The players arrived in Jamaica from the 20/20 World Cup in England in two batches.

Captain Chris Gayle, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Jerome Taylor and David Bernard arrived on Monday, while the remaining members of the squad along with coach John Dyson got in yesterday.

India arrived in the country last week with an understrength team. They are missing top batsman Sachin Tendulkar, key pacer Zaheer Khan, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina.

The second One Day takes place on Sunday at the same venue before the series switches to St Lucia for the last two matches at the Beausejour Cricket Ground on July 3 and 5.
