Jamaica’s senior football squad arrived in Los Angeles last night for the Gold Cup tournament.
The Reggae Boyz completed preparations for the Gold Cup on Sunday following a one-week camp in the Cayman Islands during which they played two games.
The first match against a Cayman Islands All-Star team was aborted due to bad weather, with Jamaica leading 5-0. The Reggae Boys then stopped Cayman Islands national team 4-1 in the second game on Sunday.
Ricardo Gardner, who did not make the trip to the Cayman Islands, will captain the Gold Cup team.
Jamaica will begin the Gold Cup on July 3 against Canada in the first game of the tournament opening doubleheader.
