Drug speculations surround Jackson’s death
More details are emerging about the death of pop star Michael Jackson.
The CNN is reporting that when Jackson collapsed at his mansion last month, his arms were riddled with marks and his veins had collapsed.
The CNN says the marks on his arms were consistent with those of an intravenous (IV) drug user.
The development adds to the speculation that prescription drugs played a part in Jackson\'s death on June 25.
Investigators are still awaiting the results of a toxicology test to determine the exact cause of death.
The anaesthetic drug diprivan which was found at Jackson’s house is usually given through IV use.
It can be fatal if not administered properly.
The US Drug Enforcement Administration is now looking into the role of drugs in Jackson’s death.
A funeral for the pop star was held in Los Angeles yesterday.
