West Indies, replying to Bangladesh’s first innings total of 238, were 17 for one at stumps on today’s second day of the rain-affected opening Test at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex in St Vincent.

Debutant opener Dale Richards is the batsman back in the pavilion for 13.

Omar Phillips is on zero and night watchman Ryan Austin is on one. Both players are making their debut.

Earlier, debutant fast bowler Kemar Roach took three wickets for 46, to help dismiss Bangladesh for under 250 runs after they resumed this morning on 42 without loss.

Darren Sammy and Tino Best supported with two wickets each.

Mashrafe Mortaza topscored for Bangladesh with 39, Mushfigur Rahim got 36, while Imrul Kayes and Shahadat Hossain scored 33 each.

West Indies are being represented by a replacement squad after the original 13-man squad chose to boycott the series due to contract wrangles with the West Indies Cricket Board.
