The West Indies cricket selectors have remained with the makeshift squad for the second Test against visitors Bangladesh starting Friday at the Queen’s Park Stadium in Grenada.

However, the selectors have added Barbadian batsman Ryan Hinds to the squad.

Hinds is the third player who has represented the West Indies recently, to break ranks with the West Indies Players Association (WIPA), following decisions by David Bernard Junior and Darren Sammy to play in the first Test.

Jamaican Andre Creary and Barbadian Kraig Brathwaite have been dropped and will return to Jamaica to play in the TCL Group West Indies three-day Cup tournament.

Floyd Reifer has been retained as captain and Sammy as vice captain.

The remaining members of the squad are, Ryan Austin, Tino Best, Travis Dowlin, Kevin McClean, Nikita Miller, Nelon Pascal, Omar Phillips, Dale Richards, Kemar Roach and Chadwick Walton.

West Indies trail the two-match series 1-0 following a 95-run defeat on the fifth and final day of the opening Test at Arnos Vale in St Vincent on Monday.
