St Kitts confirms first H1N1 death

St. Kitts and Nevis has recorded its first death linked to the Influenza A, H1N1 virus.
Health officials yesterday confirmed the causality, as a 28-year-old woman.
She reportedly died while being treated at hospital.
It’s reported that despite the efforts of the hospital’s staff, the patient’s health deteriorated rapidly and she died within 36 hours of being admitted.
St. Kitts now has three cases of the H1N1 virus with one death.
