Manhunt on for suspects in British couple attack
The police in Trinidad and Tobago are now searching for suspects linked to a brutal attack on a British couple over the weekend.
Authorities say 65-year-old Peter Greene and his 59-year-old wife Murium were severely beaten at their home in Bacolet, Tobago on Saturday.
Mr Greene was reportedly chopped all over his body.
He was also placed in an induced coma by doctors, because of injuries to his head.
The woman was also chopped and her face badly damaged.
The couple, who are originally from Reading in England, are believed to be retirees, who for the past ten years, frequented Tobago where they own the house in Bacolet.
They arrived in Tobago last week Wednesday for vacation.
Up to yesterday, police had not ruled out robbery as a motive for the attack.
