Airline officials are reporting that 13 persons have been killed after the small plane in which they were traveling crashed in Papua, New Guinea.
It’s reported that the twin-engine plane took off yesterday from the capital, Port Moresby, for a 27-minute flight.
Air traffic controllers lost contact with the flight as it flew through thickly forested mountains.
The plane’s wreckage was later found in the mountains, with no survivors.
Authorities could not immediately say what had caused the crash.
