The world athletics federation says it will wait until Monday before deciding whether four Jamaican athletes, who were cleared of doping offences by the Jamaica Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel earlier this week, can take part in the World Championships.

The athletes are Yohan Blake, Allodin Fothergill, Lansford Spence, Marvin Anderson and Sheri-Ann Brooks.

A fifth athlete, Marvin Anderson was also cleared but has since pulled out of the team as a result of injury.

The five athletes returned Adverse Analytical Findings for the substance Methyl Hexanamine.

The athletes in question are relay runners who are scheduled to compete later next week.
