The Leader of Guyana\'s main opposition Peoples National Congress Reform (PNCR) Robert Corbin said he will run for the leadership of the party at its congressional elections this weekend.

Mr Corbin had previously avoided questions about whether he will run.

However he has confirmed that he will be contesting even as the PNCR probes allegation that the membership-list has been padded with the names of migrants and deceased persons.

The other contenders are expected to be Barbados-based management consultant, Aubrey Armstrong and former PNCR Chairman, Winston Murray.
