Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Denzil Douglas is accusing the opposition People’s Action Movement of preventing the government from announcing the date for a general election because of its legal challenges to the report of the Constituency Boundaries Commission.

The commission has furnished a report on changes to constituency boundaries.

But the opposition has filed an action against the Commission on the grounds that it did not act in accordance with the country’s constitution.

The opposition want the courts to prevent the report from being used for the next general election.
