Australia defeats Scotland

Australia defeated hosts Scotland by 189 runs in a One-Day International today in Edinburgh.
The Aussies batted first and piled up 345 off their allotted 50 overs, their 12th largest total.
David Hussey scored most runs for Australia with 111. Adam Voges slammed 72 and Shane Watson scored 68. Gordon Goudie returned figures of five for 73.
Needing 346 runs for victory, Scotland were bowled out for 156 against the bowling of Shane Watson three for 29.
Australia used the match as preparation for two Twenty/Twenty Internationals and a seven-match one-day series against hosts England.
That series will start in Manchester on Sunday.
