The speedy Jamaican forward, Dane Richards, notched his second goal in two games as New York Red Bulls edged Columbus Crew one-nil in US Major League Soccer at Giant Stadium last night.
Richards struck a 63rd minute goal on the counter-attack to deliver three valuable points to the struggling New York Red Bulls, who were recording back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
New York are still bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with 16 points
The Jamaican pair of Andy Williams and Donovan Ricketts also helped their teams secure wins.
Williams set up Pablo Campos to score in the 18th minute to give Real Salt Lake a one-nil victory over Kansas City Wizards at Community America Ball Park.
