Stanford returns to prison

The lawyer representing ex-billionaire Sir Allen Stanford said his client is back in a Houston jail after medical tests detected a non-life-threatening aneurysm in his leg.

The 59 year old Texan financier was taken to the hospital last week with a high pulse rate.

The illness caused Sir Allen to miss a court date.

Attorney Dick DeGuerin said doctors have said his condition could be resolved through elective surgery.

Sir Allen is accused of orchestrating a $7 billion fraud based in his Antiguan offshore bank.

However he has denied the allegations.
