Reggae girl is Caribbean Player of the Year

Jamaica’s Reggae Girl Tashana Vincent is the 2007 Caribbean Football Union Women’s Player of the Year.
It was confirmed this week at the annual CFU congress in Guadeloupe.
Vincent, who was also a nominee for the Sportswoman of the Year in Jamaica, had an outstanding season for the national senior team in 2007.
The 21 year old helped Jamaica to third place, in its group at the Pan American Games in Brazil last summer.
She hit the match-winner against Ecuador in the only win for the senior women’s team at the tournament.
Grenada’s international midfielder, Shalrie Joseph was voted the Men’s Player of the Year.
