St Kitts PM says economy doing well

Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas says the St Kitts and Nevis economy has been spared the brunt of the fallout from the international financial crisis.



However, he concedes that the country has had some job cuts and reductions in economic activity.



However the prime minister says the country’s economy has been bolstered by the initiatives undertaken by his government to stimulate economic activity.
