Regional Championships set for Oct 26

The regional limited overs championships will bowl off on October 26 in Guyana and will feature the West Indies Under-19s who are gearing up for next year’s Youth World Cup in New Zealand.



The championship, which will conclude on November 4, will be divided into two groups and will be played under a round-robin format with the group winners qualifying for the final.



There are no sponsors for the tournament so far. If the WICB is unsuccessful in attracting one, it will be the second year running that the region’s premier one-day competition would have failed to get corporate backing.
