Defending champions Tivoli Gardens scored a 4-0 victory over August Town at the Edward Seaga Complex yesterday to keep their perfect record intact in the new season of the Digicel Premier League.
Tivoli have now recorded three victories from as many games to remain top of the points’ table on nine points, two ahead of Portmore United, who had to settle for a 2-2 draw against debutant Humble Lions at Effortville Centre.
In other games, Sporting Central Academy defeated Arnett Gardens 2-0 at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, Village United edged Waterhouse 2-1 at Elliston Wakeland Centre, while Rivoli United and Boys’ Town ended nil-all at Spanish Town Prison Oval.
