Michael Owen scored in the sixth minute of added time to earn Manchester United a memorable 4-3 victory over Manchester City in a thrilling English Premier League derby clash at Old Trafford yesterday.

United had led three times, first through Wayne Rooney and twice through Darren Fletcher headers. However, City pegged them back through Gareth Barry and a stunning brace from Craig Bellamy.

However it was Owen who has the final say deep into added time, clipping the ball past Shay Girven after being superbly set up by Ryan Giggs.

United still trail Chelsea at the top of the table after the Blues completed a 3-0 victory over London rivals Tottenham to make it six league wins out of six.

In other games, Everton recorded a 3-0 victory over Blackburn at Goodison Park and Wolves beat Fulham 2-1 for their first home victory of the season.
