JFF reprimands Sporting Central executive
Sporting Central executive Brandon Murray has been fined $10,000 and reprimanded by the Jamaica Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee.
Murray was summoned before the Disciplinary Committee for comments he made to the fourth official following the ejection of defender Linval Lewis during a Digicel Premier League game between Arnett Gardens and Sporting Central.
Murray’s case was one of three that were handled by the Disciplinary Committee in its first meeting of the season on September 22.
Lewis was given a one-match suspension for violent conduct during the game. He has already missed a game.
And Arnett Gardens’ Ricardo Smith was reprimanded and slapped with a one-match suspension for his action towards a spectator. Smith has already served his suspension.
