New Zealand sets target in Champions Trophy match
New Zealand set a victory target of 147 were 53 without loss after eight overs in their Champions Trophy match against England at the Wanderers Stadium in South Africa.
The batsmen at the crease are Brendon McCallum on 26 and Martin Guptill on 23.
Earlier, New Zealand allrounder Grant Elliott took four wickets to dismiss England for 146 with more than six overs remaining.
Elliott had career-best figures of four for 31 in eight overs on a pitch that played unevenly and gave a lot of assistance to seam bowlers. Shane Bond, who took 3 for 21 from 10 overs, assisted him.
Paul Collingwood top-scored with 40 and Ravi Bopara made 30 after New Zealand won the toss and sent England in to bat.
England have already booked their spot in the semi-finals after knocking South Africa out on Sunday.
