Young Reggae Girls departs Sunday for qualifiers

Jamaica’s 18-member Under 17 women’s squad will depart the country on Saturday to take part in the Caribbean leg of the World Cup qualifiers in Curacao.
The qualifiers start on October 12.
The squad includes 10 players from the 2008 Under-15 team, which won the inaugural Caribbean Football Union Under-15 tournament in Trinidad and Tobago.
Included in the 10 are Shanise Foster, the then captain and Trudy Carter who have both stepped up to the Under-20 team.
The squads will assembly at the players residence on Friday ahead of their departure.
In Curacao they will compete against Aruba on October 12, the Dominican Republic on October 14 before closing out against the Netherland Antilles two days later.
